CEO and Co-founder – Radiantis
As Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Radiantis, I lead the company’s strategic direction, business growth and global operations. Since establishing the company in 2005, I have been committed to transforming advanced photonics research into practical technologies that enable innovation and create value across scientific, industrial and other high-impact application sectors. Working closely with our team, customers and partners, I help shape the development of next-generation tunable laser systems that support cutting-edge research, technological advancement and product development across a wide range of applications.
Main Areas of Expertise
My expertise combines photonics, technology commercialization and business leadership. Throughout my career, I have focused on building successful bridges between scientific research and real-world applications. I have many years of experience in technology transfer, innovation management, strategic business development and international growth. I am particularly driven in supporting breakthrough technologies move from the laboratory into products that create meaningful impact across industry, research and society.
My career has spanned both industry and research, providing me with a broad perspective on innovation from concept to commercialization. Early experience in technology development within the UK photonics industry, gave me valuable insight into how emerging technologies can address market needs and create value for customers. I later joined the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO), where I was involved in project management and technology transfer activities. These experiences gave me a deep appreciation of both the technical and commercial dimensions of innovation and ultimately inspired the creation of Radiantis.
I remain passionate about innovation, entrepreneurship and the potential of technology to address real-world challenges. I particularly value collaboration across disciplines, organizations and sectors as a means of transforming new ideas into meaningful impact.
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking in the mountains and spending time in nature. I am also passionate about travel and value the opportunity to discover new cultures, perspectives and ways of life.
