A new chapter for Radiantis: Engineering on your wavelength

We’re excited to unveil a new chapter for Radiantis, with the launch of our new website and branding.

Our new website has been created to bring together our broadly tunable laser technologies, products, applications, technical knowledge and scientific resources in one place, making it easier to discover our capabilities and find information relevant to specific research, industrial and OEM requirements.

Alongside it, our new branding reflects Radiantis’ place within the wider Hawthorn Photonics family, while retaining the individual character and expertise that define the business.

More than 20 years of specialist engineering

For more than two decades, we have been developing broadly tunable laser technology for scientists and engineers around the world. Our systems support applications across spectroscopy, microscopy, quantum technology, advanced photonics, optical communications and many other fields.

Throughout that journey, our focus has remained consistent. We create broadly tunable laser systems that give researchers access to the wavelengths they need, supported by specialist optical engineering and a team that understands the complexities of scientific, life and health science, quantum and industrial laser applications.

Our expertise encompasses optical parametric oscillators, harmonic generators and complete tunable laser systems across continuous-wave, picosecond and femtosecond timescales.

But our technology is only part of the story. Our customers are trying to achieve something with it. They may need a particular wavelength, output power, pulse duration or linewidth. They may be developing a new experimental or industrial technique, extending an existing capability or investigating an entirely new application area.

Understanding those requirements and applying our engineering expertise to help address them is fundamental to how we work. It brings together two sides of Radiantis: the specialist engineering behind our technology and our understanding of the individual requirements of the scientists and engineers who use it.

Our new website has been designed around that same principle. It provides a place where scientists and engineers can explore our technologies, understand their applications, access our technical knowledge and find the right solution for their requirements.

It also recognises that there is no single starting point when looking for a laser. Sometimes you know precisely which OPO configuration you need. Sometimes you know the wavelength, pulse duration, output characteristics or tuning range your experiment requires. And sometimes you start with the application itself and need to understand which technologies could provide the capabilities you are looking for.

The new website brings those different routes together. Visitors can explore our broadly tunable laser systems and technologies in depth, move between products and applications, access technical information and discover our growing collection of scientific resources.

A shared identity within Hawthorn Photonics Group

Together with the website, our new branding brings Radiantis into closer alignment with the wider Hawthorn Photonics group.

Since joining Hawthorn Photonics Group in 2025, Radiantis has become part of a family of specialist photonics companies. Each business brings its own technologies, expertise and heritage, while sharing a common visual language and approach.

The refreshed Radiantis identity reflects that connection. Its design creates greater visual consistency across Hawthorn Photonics while retaining the individual character and specialist laser expertise that define Radiantis.

Together with the Covesion brand, we bring complementary capabilities across tunable laser systems, non-linear optics, wavelength conversion and advanced photonic technologies. Connecting that expertise creates opportunities to support customers whose requirements span different areas of photonics.

The new website strengthens that connection digitally too, making it easier for customers to discover complementary technologies and expertise across the Hawthorn Photonics family where their requirements extend beyond a single photonics discipline.
