As part of our continued commitment to supporting the study and application of photonics at a grass roots level, Radiantis CEO Dr. Sara Otero will be presenting a seminar in photonics and business to students of the ‘Master in Photonics’ programme in Barcelona on March 14th entitled, ‘Strategic and Product Marketing’.

The seminar, which forms part of an official MSc course organised by Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC), Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB), Universitat de Barcelona (UB) and the Institut de Ciències Fotóniques (ICFO), will set out and analyse successful marketing strategies for technology-based companies in the photonics field.

The seminar will be the latest in a series of such talks by Radiantis, the most recent of which was delivered by Dr. Adolfo Esteban in late January, entitled ‘Practical Optical Parametric Oscillators’. The seminar sought to demonstrate to the students how the oscillators are able to overcome the spectral limitations of lasers and extend the accessible wavelengths to new limits with many applications in time-domain spectroscopy, optical microscopy, biophotonics and nanotechnology, among others.
