The Radiantis Locked Laser System is a fully integrated, turnkey solution designed to deliver ultra-stable, narrow-linewidth optical output with absolute frequency referencing.
Based on advanced wavelength conversion and locking technologies, the system provides spectrally pure emission with long-term stability, enabling demanding applications in quantum science and precision metrology.
Built on Covesion's proven fiber-coupled waveguide platform, the system bridges robust telecom laser technology at 1560 nm with high-performance outputs at 780 nm through efficient frequency conversion. The laser is frequency-locked to an atomic rubidium (Rb) reference, ensuring absolute frequency accuracy while maintaining user-controlled offset tuning across a wide range. The locking architecture relies on a saturated absorption spectroscopy (SAS) reference and a dedicated control loop that preserves the output beam integrity. A digitally controlled offset mechanism also allows precise selection and adjustment of the output frequency relative to the atomic transition, enabling fine control for targeting specific energy levels.
The standard configuration provides continuous-wave output at 1560.49 nm and/or 780.246 nm, with output powers of up to 1 W depending on the wavelength. The system provides linewidths below 10 kHz, frequency stability better than 100 kHz and output power stability below 1% RMS, ensuring reliable long-term operation suitable for high-precision experiments.
Designed for ease of use, the Locked Laser System operates as a hands-free, rack-mounted unit with a compact 19" form factor. Turnkey operation, automated frequency locking, and optional fast modulation capabilities allow seamless integration into laboratory and industrial environments, making it particularly well suited for rubidium-based applications such as laser cooling, trapping, interferometry, quantum sensing, timing, and quantum computing.
Radiantis' expertise in frequency conversion and laser system integration ensures that the Locked Laser System delivers exceptional performance in a compact and reliable architecture, enabling cutting-edge research and next-generation quantum technologies.
