The International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) has announced the prestigious Young Scientist Award for 2023. The award recognizes outstanding achievements by young physicists under the age of 35 and is given every three years at the General Assembly of the IUPAP.
The IUPAP Young Scientist Award is one of the most coveted awards in the field of physics, and it attracts nominations from all over the world. The award recognizes the contributions of young physicists who have made significant advancements in their respective fields, and whose work shows promise for future breakthroughs.
This year’s award winners will be selected by a Jury, including Sara Otero, the director of Radiantis, a company specializing in photonics technology. Otero also serves as the vice-president of Industry of the International Commission of Optics (ICO), which is responsible for promoting optics and photonics worldwide.
