Spectra-Physics: A Radiantis-approved distributor of the Inspire, Inspire Blue and Inspire IR. The two companies have been cooperating extremely successfully since 2008. Spectra-Physics was founded over 50 years ago as the first commercial laser company delivering breakthrough technologies that transform the way businesses operate and people live. The company offers deep applications expertise, a commitment to world-class customer experience, and the highest standards for operational excellence and continuous global improvement. Spectra-Physics is a Newport company and has offices in countries around the world, serving customers across a broad range of industry segments.
ICFO: A young research institution that aims to advance the very limits of knowledge in photonics, namely the science and technology of harnessing light. It targets the global forefront of photonics, and aims to tackle important challenges faced by society at large while also focusing on current and future problems in health, energy, information, safety, security and environmental protection. ICFO has earned international recognition for the quality of its scientific output, with outstanding publications in leading journals and research groups made up of highly qualified and motivated scientists from around the world.
ICREA: Began life in 2005 and has since forged close collaborative links with Radiantis particularly in the field of research. The key link between the two organisations being Radiantis co-founder, president and chief scientist, Majid Ebrahim-Zadeh, who has a long-standing track record at the forefront of research in optical parametric oscillators (OPOs) and nonlinear frequency conversion technology, spanning more than 20 years.
Horizon 2020: The EU's biggest research and innovation programme, with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020). Its principle aim being to attract additional private investment, and, by forming close research relationships with companies such as Radiantis, to strive for ever more scientific breakthroughs, discoveries and world-firsts by taking great ideas from the laboratory to the marketplace.
The International Safe Transit Association (ISTA): An organisation focused on the specific concerns of transport packaging. ISTA is the leading industry developer of testing protocols and design standards that define how packages should perform to ensure protection of their contents amidst the ever-changing risks of the global distribution environment.
The Southern European Cluster in Photonics and Optics (SECPhO): An organisation which brings together companies, technology centres and research groups in the photonics and optics sector. Its main objectives being to generate business opportunities for companies while providing technology centres and research groups with access to projects. It also strives to foster innovation in the field of photonic and optic technologies. Radiantis is represented by its CEO Sara Otero as the Vicepresident of the SECPhO board of directors.
Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad: The governmental department chiefly responsible for promoting the integration of academic research institutions with industry bodies, in order to promote growth and economic strength. Radiantis is currently undertaking various research and development assignments funded by the Ministerio de Economía.
Photonics 21: A European technology platform which represents both research and industry organisations within the European photonics community, while working towards developing a common photonics strategy for future research and innovation. Radiantis is a member of Photonics 21.
The Agencia per a la Competitivitat Accio (ACCIO): A unit of the Cataluña Trade & Investment Agency with particular responsibility for business competitiveness. ACCIÓ's various programmes promote innovation and investment in Cataluña and throughout the world.
